Endeavour acquires surf&turf
The Haarlem-based digital agency Endeavour has acquired Surf&turf, also located in Haarlem. With this acquisition, Endeavour enriches its existing e-commerce services with strong expertise in Shopify.
Founded in 2017 and led by founders Nol Oosterom and Celine Bakker, Surf&turf treats every client as if it were their brand. They position themselves as an extension of their clients' e-commerce teams, collaborating to design and develop next-level experiences. With their in-depth knowledge of Shopify and a personal, hands-on approach, Surf&turf has quickly established a prominent position in the e-commerce world.
Mike van der Wallen, managing director of Endeavour, said, "Their level of dedication, combined with years of experience in the e-commerce world, makes them a true partner for their clients. We recognize ourselves in that. Together, we are taking a significant step forward in e-commerce and digital services."
Boost The strategic acquisition significantly enhances the existing Shopify expertise within Endeavour. Both teams will merge into a group of 20 Shopify experts, complementing the existing expertise in SEO, analytics, A/B testing, and HubSpot. With this combination of services, the Haarlem-based company now offers a complete package for e-commerce clients.
Van der Wallen added, "Not only do Endeavour's clients benefit from Surf&turf's Shopify expertise; Surf&turf's clients also gain access to Endeavour's broad range of services, such as online marketing, video, branding, and campaigns. This means a substantial upgrade in service for all clients."
Future Plans Celine Bakker, co-owner of Surf&turf, stated, "We are fully confident that the acquisition will have a positive impact on both teams. The quality and unique DNA of Surf&turf align very well with that of Endeavour, and the teams can strengthen each other in multiple areas."
For now, Surf&turf employees will continue to work at their current location "around the corner," but the integration will ultimately be implemented quickly and smoothly, both physically and virtually, allowing the strengths of both companies to be fully utilized.
